A person who recognizes the futility of pursuing romantic or sexual relationships due to insurmountable physical, personal, or market barriers, and therefore rationally disengages. It combines "futility" with "celibate", implying a pragmatic, self-aware resignation. They bottle up a quiet, knowing disappointment, pack up their things, and leave the concept of romance to the genetically solvent.

SWINO
An acronym for "Straight Woman In Name Only" or "Straight Women In Name Only". Used to describe a woman or women who publicly identifies or identify as heterosexual, but whose private habits, romantic preferences, or behaviors contradict that label.
Joe: I don't get it. She claims she's straight, but I borrowed her laptop and her search history is strictly lesbian content. Like, thousands of videos.
