Lost as a ghost

When you find yourself completely and utterly lost, either geographically, intellectually, or emotionally. This phrase comes from the idea that when a ghost wakes up, it is entirely disoriented, and may utter the phrase, "Wow, I'm so lost".

GhostTina: "OH my gosh, where am I?!"
GhostRory: "Tina! You're a ghost!"
GhostTina: "Wow. I'm so lost!"

Ghost Rory: "Yeah, Tina, there's an expression for that. Al ice calls it being 'lost as a ghost'"

This phrase is uttered by a person who asks a lot of questions because they are curious.

Tina: "Rory! Why do you ask me so many questions ?!?!?"
Rory: "I don't know, Tina. I guess I'm just really curious . . . Call me George!"
