A term that came from the idea that flexing muscles is a way to show off.

To openly display expensive belongings, or to brag on one's self; talk themselves up.

"She posted images of her Gucci purse to flex."

"He was flexing on us...talking about how many girlfriends he has."

Confidently having an opinion or view that is widely considered unacceptable.

"He said women belong in the kitchen, how based."

"You wouldn't date a black person? Wow, you're based."

Drip 

A term derived from the idea that jewelry such as a diamond's shimmer looks like water dripping.

Clothing, jewelry, or other accessories that is used to show wealth or class.

"Look at that guy wearing a rollex, he's got drip!"
