when a band or artist gets really popular, and everyone in the scene starts to hate them.

i used to like Killswitch Engage, but now that they're big. i think they suck.

reset button

extemely lazy tactic used by writers when they run out of ideas. basically it consists of having some kind of stupid event occur that sets everything back to zero. it's most commonly seen anime.

Board Samurai

a person with an high rank/post count on a message board that picks on noobs. refers to the feudal era when samurais were considered olf high rank, and shunned average citizens.

stupid Board Samurai thinks he can talk down to me just because he has a higher post count.
