I rewatched The Sopranos at 35 and reinfluvium hit hard. The show didn't change. I had become someone who could finally see what it was actually doing.

Influvium

noun. The way something hidden flows into something visible without being separate from it. The river-feeling inside a thing that you can't quite point to but you know is doing the work. From Latin in, into, plus fluvius, river — basically influence with the metaphor turned back on.

I can't explain why this song hits so hard. The lyrics are nothing special. Must be the influvium.
