Spite donation 

A donation made to a cause out of spite. Sometimes made in the name of the person you were arguing with about a subject, to the cause that person was against.

I made a spite donation in Kelly's name to Planned Parenthood after Kelly made insensitive and false remarks about abortion in a Facebook group. In fact, I donated a dollar for every comment she made.

verb. To confront media distortions with facts

The Rude Pundit was boehlerting on the Stephanie Miller show comparing the media's relentless coverage of Hunter Biden's laptop vs the coverage of Eric Trump emails planning to overturn the election before the election.

Throwing rocks 

Telling someone you love to leave for their own good - as in the movies where a wild animal is told to go back into the forest while protagonist throws rocks ,

I told my boyfriend to leave me because I am a hot mess, he told me to stop throwing rocks.

adjective: done to death, tired, commonplace , overdone, overplayed. Particularly in the case of a song done repeated at open mic nights or by cover bands.
