I'll define it as: being a boy and admitting your crush at a girl, only to find out she was into girls. (Especially if it's not the first girl to be this case)

I keep falling for cute girls at ky school. I didn't know it was a lesbian stampede.

Not a past tense of gold but the act of getting gold for something such as an award or game reward.

"I have already finished all the missions, then finished with the highest score possible and golded the game."
"They didn't even get the bronze but they should have golded the whole event if that horse didn't act up"
