It means ‘fuck the mags’, according to fans of a shit football team, even though it could also mean ‘ fuck the mackems’, the fans of Sunderland, who feel insecure about the club across the water being better than them; they use it when anybody is speaking about Newcastle United or even when Newcastle aren’t even mentioned. They care about Newcastle more than their own team.
