grease

Petroleum based pomade used to style the hair. Favoured less in recent times due to all manner of modern waxes, hairsprays amd gels but still de rigeur amongst the swing, rockabilly, and greaser fraternities.
Can be used to create anything from a slicked back 1920s look to a 1950's pompadour.
Have you got any grease? I'm going Lindy Hopping tonight and I want my pomp to look right.

punkabilly

A fusion of contemporary punk and rockabilly.
Often confused with psychobilly, a long dead (regardless of what some Tiger Army kiddies will tell you) British offshoot of rockabilly and trash.
Punkabilly is more of a good time, rockin' sound, sometimes with some elements of swing or jazz thrown in.
The Kings Of Nuthin' sure are one hard rockin' punkabilly band!

lam

Run. To be "on the lam" is to be on the run. Either from the law or from the mob. A popular expression in 1930's-1950's pulp fiction and film noir.
Louie was ratted out by that fink Joey and is now on the lam from the law.
