When someone succeeds, forgets how much luck, timing, privilege, help, or circumstance contributed, and starts telling everyone else they just need to work harder.
A particularly obnoxious form of survivorship bias.

agendship

"Agendship" is a portmanteau of "agenda" and "friendship," suggesting a type of relationship where interactions are primarily driven by specific objectives or agendas rather than mutual affection or shared interests. In an "agendship," the underlying motive for one or both parties to maintain the relationship is to achieve certain goals, which might be professional, social, or personal. Unlike genuine friendships that thrive on spontaneous connections, empathy, and unconditional support, agendships are characterized by their strategic nature, where the companionship serves a particular purpose beyond just the joy of each other's company.

Maria's frequent invitations to Jenna for religious gatherings thinly veiled her agendship, aimed more at converting Jenna to her faith than building a true friendship.
