Niddrie is a poor area of many council houses in Edinburgh, Scotland. It has a high unemployment rate with many of its residence unemployed, in the jail, taking drugs or just doing nothing.
During those rare Sunny days in Scotland the residents of Niddrie often just sit in the sun (after they get out of bed about midday). After about a week it's as if they have been on holiday.

To Horst; a deliberate or unintentional act of inactivity. A form of lazyness found to exist within some humans. To have done nothing with themselves all day, to fail to achieve any work and in fact try and avoid work. Horsting is completing or directly be inactivity purpisfully or unintentionally. Horsted as to have wasted the day away and completed or achieved or learned nothing.
Horsting; when asked or given a required work to achieve they declined to achieve this or complete this. This is the deliberate act of inactivity.
