A Sudden "wall" of wind, either horizontally or vertically, can be 650 MPH! Planes have to be careful of it. It can make them Crash!
On that flight, she prayed for there to not be any wind shears.

Founder of Narcotics Anonymous

Jimmy K. (Kinnon) founded NA in 1953. Back then it was illegal for addicts to meet under Any circumstances! So they met in church basements, etc., out of the public eye. In 2012, there were Over 62,700 meetings Worldwide in Over 142 countries! If you have a layover at the airport, you can page "Friends of Jimmy K." & will be met by fellow recovering addicts! This is Extremely helpful if you're having cravings or need someone to talk with who understands. NA has helped Over a Million people! For every person in recovery, it affects 40 other people!

angel touch

When you feel a touch, like on your shoulder, & you're alone~nobody else is there; that's an angel touch! Your loved ones who've passed on are your Guardian Angels & it was probably 1 of them.
She felt the angel touch so many times; there was no doubt in her mind that it was her guardian angel.

American Sign Language

A series of hand gestures, each representing a letter of the alphabet or an entire phrase; Very useful to deaf people & also if you're somewhere ya gotta be quiet so you just sign instead of talk. It originated in the early 19th century in the American School for the deaf in Hartford, Connecticut.
Monica's daughter is deaf so I got to see American Sign Language in action. It was a very interesting experience & her siblings knew how to sign too; their fingers just flew!

sage

A perennial herb that grows wild & also people cultivate it in their gardens. It grows up to 3' tall & from 24" to 36" wide. It's highly aromatic & has blue, pink, or white flowers which grown on semi~cone shaped stalks. It's considered Sacred by Native Americans & has a variety of medicinal uses. It repels deer & is a low~maintenance plant. The top 6"~8" are cut & dried. Many Native Americans "Cleanse" their homes, etc., by wafting the burning sage around in each room & even in outdoor places. It has a calm, sweet aroma.
The sage grew quite well in the garden. I Adore it so much~it smells Wonderful!
