Hope

Something people try to sell you.

Any time a business or medical office says we care, or that they sell hope, you wonder whether they would be as positive and optimistic, or provide as much optimism/morale boosting to others if they weren't making lots of money by saying those things. Wouldn't they be just as negative and self-serving as everyone else?

Compromise

If you don't want to see housing costs skyrocket to line the pockets of developers and people involved in real estate, but you prepare to compromise instead of to fight it, what do you expect to happen. They're not on your side, they're on theirs.

Compromise is a good way to lose what you have to the one trying to get you to compromise, or negotiate, and it's not good for much else. Sometimes you have to fight something in order not to lose everything, otherwise people assume you took what you lost for granted, even if you didn't.

Social media

Theres not really anything social about social media, if anything, social media encourages people to be distant from each other and in their own little world/bubble.

Social media provides the illusion of being part of a large network, meanwhile some people are getting rich via this platform. There was a time before social media where people actually knew each other in real life and had actual life experience with the other person, rather than the virtual image of someone on a computer screen.
