A gullible person, naive and unintelligent; someone who accepts whatever explanation given by the supposed authority, even when it is a lie, to swallow whatever it as it is not necessarily accurately explained.

We all knew the politician was lying about his stance on the homeless situation, but the throat who was with it bought the whole story and decided to vote for him.
