Tar-Chan from the eponymous parody manga seems to be the opposite of George of the Jungle, because he’s more like Kinnikuman in that he’s a hidden backup prince.
Tar-Chan is undoubtedly one of the most outrageous examples of Himbo humour alongside Mazinger Z and Goku amongst others.

Groovival is a cyclical trend that originally focused on late 60s-mid 70s nostalgias for older members of Gen X during the early-mid 1990s. However, it’s actually at its most popular in the mid-2000s.
Japanese Groovival has given us a load of early Toonami stuff such as Kikaider and Samurai Champloo.

Deyassification

Deyassification not only refers to taking the colour out of icons like barbie and the Wizard of Oz’s dorothy, it also refers to the disposability and eventual irrelevance of trendy characters like Barney the dinosaur.
According to Karolina Żebrowska on her YouTube channel, Barbie has undergone a drastic amount of Deyassification thanks to the ill conceived decisions of Mattel’s higher ups.
