A term used by skateboarders when breaking entry into private property in order to skateboard appropriate terrane without permission. Derived from a line by Robert Duvall’s character, Lt. Colonel Kilgore in “Apocalypse Now” in response to a soldier’s assertion that an area that he wants to surf is “Charlie’s point” He screams defiantly “Charlie don't surf!” A way of saying “I don't care about the risks, there's no way I'm not riding that!”
"Look at that handrail! But there's a padlock on the fence and a 'beware of the dogs' sign... Charlie Don't Surf!"
