Abbreviation for "Just A Guy. " A JAG is a replacement level person, who is adequate, but completely without special qualities.

Tom is a JAG. If he quit tomorrow, I'd have 10 application from people just like him by close-of-business.

Me-Unit 

An urban slant on the concept of the one man wolf pack, but more indicative of wifelessness. When a man is a Me-Unit, he has clarity of values, purpose, and direction, because nobody in his life has the standing to convolute those things for him.

For a certain type of alpha dog, being a Me-Unit is the only situation where the world is right.

Married guy: "My wife was giving me shit, because she wants to go on vacation, and I told her it was more important to fund our IRA."

Me-Unit: "Sucks, bro. I don't have those problems, because I'm a Me-Unit."
