Choir camp
The opposite of band camp, A place where choir kids, choir nerds, and choir freaks go to be themselves. You basically sing for five hours straight. And there’s a 60% chance that it’s next to a band camp.

Choir sectionalism
When a choir kid has an allegiance to their section and will literally cry for hours if they are moved.
Director: Hey Charlotte
Charlotte: wat
Director: i’m gonna need to move you to alto 1
Charlotte: no I’m a soprano 1

Alto 1 & 2
In choral music, the alto section is often divided into two groups: alto 1 versus alto 2. Alto 2 music is written from F3 to A4. Alto 1 singers are normally relegated to notes up to F5 and sometimes higher, and often do not sing notes lower than A3.
