Yard jockey

A person who drives a shunt truck to move trailers in a yard of a trucking facility. Typical responsibility include spotting trailers, moving trailers to and from docks and assisting drivers.

I can't find the trailer I'm supposed to pick up. I better go look for a yard jockey to help me find it.

AR 15

AR 15 is the civilian version of the military's M4 carbine. Contrary to what most people believe AR doesn't stand for assault rifle, rather it stands for the original manufacturer Armalite Rifle. AR 15 is semiautomatic and does't meet Federal requirements to be classified as an assault rifle.

Ethiopia

A large, landlocked country in East Africa, home to a population of about 100 million people. People from Ethiopia are called Ethiopians. The official language is Amharic, although there are approximately 87 other languages spoken in the country.

VTA

Valley Transportation Authority, a bus and light rail service provider that covers the Santa Clara County in California. It also connects riders to other major commuter trains such as BART, Caltrain, Amtrack and also a shuttle to Mineta San Jose International Airport. Tickets are relatively cheap, $2 for two hours or $70 a month for unlimited ride.

East San Jose

A part of the city of San Jose in the Silicon Valley that is plagued by high crime rate, gang activity and murders. Statistically speaking most of San Jose's murders take place in this part of the city. Still there is nicer parts to it and the Alum Rock state park is one major attraction. The Eastrigde mall is also a major shopping destination.
