a random group of people coming together to not get anything done.

The protesters pushed into the auditorium, shouting and waving signs until they realized the lecture had been rescheduled. It was a massive crowdfail.
We honestly thought that if we had enough people we could make a difference, but we ended up crowdfailing.

negatasking 

The exhausting and futile act of failing at several things at the same time.

I took the day off from work to go fishing and not catch anything, but forgot to pick my kid up from school. I was negatasking all day.

Bill tendency to negatask always creates more work for everyone else.
