The sound a female cat in heat makes, to attract a male, or simply to piss her owners off.

Meomi was so horny the other night. She would pace about by the back door, going "Mao mao mao" really loudly. All the local tomcats were in our yard that night.

A funny face (usually made by a cat) when something smells or seems unpleasant, such as wrinkling the nose.

Yoshi had garlic on his breath, so when he tried to kiss Kaori, she made a cat face.
