NLIPS

Non Linear Invert Prospective Scrolling.
A feature available in the HomeWorld 2 game that makes distant objects, instead of getting smaller, larger, so that the further an object goes, it still stays in the same size.

NLIPS can makes it easier finding your
ships, but makes the game look less realistic.

Nihilanth

Means the end of nothingness and the genesis of knowledge(Nihil=nothing anth=end. latin).
The last boss in half life one was named so.
also a "quiz festival" in india that involves all of indias main reserch, business, and other development related institutes.

"are you going to the nihilanth?"
"have you beaten nihilanth yet?"
"I have learnt math! It's my nihilanth so to say..."
