#MentorMonday (Mentor Monday) is a hashtag used for acknowledging individuals and leaders who have assisted us in our growth or motivation, at a personal or professional level.
On #mentormonday (Mentor Monday), I want to acknowledge the impact that people like Australian Politician, Penny Wong, and actress Magda Szubanski, have contributed to social change movements; e.g. they are mentors and inspirations to others in their dedication to passing new laws to enable marriage equality in Australia, regardless of gender or partner orientation, which finally passed in early 2018 after years of abuse and resistance from old-school male politicians such as Tony Abbott, who fought to forbid his own sister to wed her same-sex partner.

** Update ** I sent through this definition late one night, and realised it needed a minor change (but did get approved). Any chance of changing it slightly as I got the other # wrong. It's #distractinglysexy (re Tim Hunt fiasco) or #toosexyforscience (not toosexyforthelab). It's about gender equality and marriage equality and other political issues, so no other changes, but it's the replacement of the lab # with #toosexyforscience instead (or #distractinglysexy which you should also have on hand - easily looked up re Tim Hunt). Thanks so much. Sorry about getting that one hashtag wrong. PLUS the "defined on 5 March 2018" should probably say "in common use" or something as that term has been around for some time, but with the equality movement gaining hold, it should be defined. And that's what I aimed for. Thanks if you can just update that hashtag that'd be great - April Mayb
#NoticeablyAbsent - When a politician, CEO, Academic or accused perpetrator of abuse is 'missing' at important events, such as cultural celebrations, hearings or media scrums, as they have fallen out of step with modern equality movements and evolutionary social views supported by a majority of the rest of the world. ** April MayB ** But the original sentence was better. That one should stay - this is just another example -- The only change to this is the hashtag and maybe the words "updated on 5th March 2018" to mean rather than "defined to mean" as it's been in colloquial use for some time.

Digital dumping has two (2) meanings: (1) digital dumping is defined as an activity to dispose of e-waste in view of environmental harms and health concerns (example: the dumping of electronic waste and obsolete digital equipment, laptops or pcs, other computer equipment, smartphones and monitors into landfills, waters and/or on foreign lands) and definition (2) digital dumping is defined as "opinion dumping' with the definition being the dumping or 'dishing out' of opinions and criticisms using online #socialmedia platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and others). Both have implications in terms of public health, environmental impacts and
The ramifications of digital dumping are being investigated as evidence emerges that more advantaged countries are dumping (exporting) tons of digital waste (e-waste) into less advantaged countries such as Africa, Asia, India and others, especially since circuit boards, smart phones and computer screens contain copper, gold, zinc, beryllium, and tantalum, lead based coatings and lithium batteries; the health effects of digital dumping are a major concern as is the pollution impact on the environment. In terms of social media digital dumping, the ramifications to psycho-social and mental health are a growing concern in relation to the suicide risks of bullying across digital channels; brands must also remain vigilant bout digital dumping from ex-employees or disgruntled consumers.
