okay but

1) A really stupid phrase affixed to the start of any sentence that Gen Z people like to say nowadays. In normal English, one would typically start with "okay but..." as a response towards someone that they disagree with (e.g. okay but that doesn't mean... etc). However, as a conversation starter it makes absolutely no fucking sense. Anyone who uses "okay but" in this manner will suffer from brain cell loss.

2) A lazy indifferent response to convey that you disagree with someone. Used when you're too lazy to refute their point, or if they were trolling or being goofy to start with. Similar to the phrase "Ok and?"
1)
The class: *dead silence*
Girl: okay but can I go to the washroom please?
Math teacher: ...yes my dear? I'm confused as to why you said "okay but" though, as if you were responding to something I said.
Girl: *leaps out of chair* HEHE bladder go brrrrrr!!!
Math teacher: Um. ok then. Back to class I suppose...

2)
User 1: Jet fuel can't melt steel beams
User 2: okay but
User 1: The emoji movie is one of the best animations
User 2: okay but

Elon Musk

An extremely wealthy man who also happens to have extremely low emotional intelligence. He has big visionary ideas and lofty goals but lacks any hint of wisdom, prudence or tact. He may be thinking for humanity as a whole, but he certainly doesn't give a damn for humans on an interpersonal level. His MBTI personality type (INTP) very much reflects and explains his lack of concern for the more human things (inferior Fe).
Person 1: I hate Elon Musk now after reading all those horrible stories and tweets
Person 2: Tbf Elon's not a bad guy per se, he just really does not know how to empathize with people or their situations, nor does he show any gratitude. He values his ideas and goals more than the people who help conceive them. He places an overexaggerated importance on logic and efficiency, and shuns anything that gets in the way of his personal agenda. Just like the US presidency, Elon was never ready to handle the responsibilities that came with being a wealthy leader. He is oddly relatable though, I'll give him that.

New York Times

A very overrated newspaper that the majority of folks depend on to get their news about everything. Mostly shares populist and moderately liberal viewpoints, with an inherent bias towards the US. The op-eds can sometimes come off as a bit moralizing. Not a bad news source by any means, but far from being the greatest newspaper.

Turmeric

An aromatic spice that belongs to the ginger family. Often most recognized as that "Indian food" smell, as it is one of the main spices in Indian curries.

Also a very potent aphrodisiac that has been said to be 3x as more effective than Viagra.
When Brad couldn't get it on with his girlfriend, he remembered that he had leftover Indian takeout in his fridge, so he took the bowl of curry and smothered it all over his stomach until he could feel the blood rushing into his dick veins.

Rhetoric

The means by which you articulate your argument. Rhetoric can be applied to anything that you wanna argue about.

Unfortunately, this means that rhetoric can be applied to an argument that: A) you do not agree with, B) is fighting for the wrong cause, or C) is just plain wrong. If such is the case, then you might in fact loathe the argument even more. I know I would.
Rhetoric is to a factual argument as icing is to cake.

Applying rhetoric to a weak or misguided argument is like polishing a turd and then plating it with gold.

Rawr XD

A cute affectionate greeting, expression or descriptive word that was once popularized a decade ago by millennials, specifically the emo and scene kids. It is way better than today's Gen Z equivalent "uwu". If you're a Gen Z reading this, I think that you should stop saying uwu <3 (combining them together is ok tho)

Pop Culturally Intimidated

When you feel intimidated and irked either due to a lack of knowledge in trendy pop cultural/meme references, or from the fact that you probably have no interest in them. Usually happens when you're out with a new group of peers, and they be saying some memey phrase or sharing some pop cultural fad and you have no idea what it is or what it means (nor do you care). Likewise, this is also very commonly experienced on the internet, most notably in the YouTube comment section.
1) Jimmy felt very pop culturally intimidated by his girlfriend once he found out that she knew more pop cultural references than him.

2) Matt joined his new group of female peers to work on a course-related project. While he didn't have trouble socializing with them, he felt extremely pop-culturally intimidated by the odd memey phrases that their peers were tossing around and giggling about. Then, they started sharing pictures of Korean guys and went on talking about their favorite kpop star. "Stop. Please...", he wished to tell them.
