Adjective, Swiss German expression for being cranky, likely to lash out at family members and friends. The root of the word is short for "Teufel im Dach" (devil in the roof).

X: I don't know what's going on. Carmen went berserk when I tried to kiss her this morning.
Y: Don't worry, she's usually tidig in the mornings.

Tasteless item made from silicone, mostly worn by idiots. Also called the idiot-plug.

Michael just failed his SATs, now he got one of these earplugs.
