Proficiently presenting a false outward perception of being an adult, when in fact trying to hide a relatively low mental age.

Person 1: did you hear about Laura? She won't come and shoot nerf guns with us anymore because she wants to look good in her new role.

Person 2: but everyone already knows how childish she is? She's not preneting very well is she?
