An alternative word to describe the ever growing acronym that started with lgbt, it is positive in it's connotation, and potentially less offensive to some than queer to describe the community.

In the United States, Pride Month is a recognized period of time where we celebrate the PLUS community, it's accomplishments, and it's history.
