A portmanteau of the words science and lie (or con). It refers to politically motivated, managed, or heavily adjusted data that is presented as indisputable objective truth to push a specific narrative. Often invoked when public institutions demand that the public blindly "trust the science" despite visible contradictions, database errors, or a lack of transparency.
