A person who does the lucrative modern scam trend, often seen in urban areas, where individuals exploit others' sympathy by pretending to be homeless and in need, preying on people's generosity and trust to fuel a lifestyle of drugs, greed, or luxury. They could also pull scams like faking a disability, pretending to be military or service personnel, staging themselves as terminally ill, or even staging fake robberies on themselves.
