(gwahl-tee-AIR-ee) The stench that emanates from an alcoholic who has not bathed in months. From this odor you can detect a panoply of body odors, alcohol breath, urine and vomit. Sheriff Bob Gualtieri of Pinellas County, Florida established a problematic "homeless" shelter that has been nicknamed "Gualtieri House". Tenants in this shelter are all habitual criminals who smell this way.
After entering a filthy subway station frequented by bums you could say, "Yuck! I smell gualtieri! I hope the train comes soon!"
