Işık's definitions

ışık

Işık is a woman who's always looking for her own peace of mind. She sees life as an endless road to her inner self. Her name means "Light" in English and mostly used to define truth and goodness. We imagine that we'd be happy if we find the light at the end of the tunnel. It represents one side of the universe. Yinyang meaning "dark and light; female and male; moon and sun." According to this philosophy, everything has both yin and yang aspects (for instance, shadow cannot exist without light). But it's more than that. It's not wave, but it's not partical either, it's both. The light further represents wisdom, as even the paltry light that makes it into the cave allows the prisoners to know shapes. It defines reality, more than truth, and this is what she wants to be.
"Tanrı ışık olsun dedi: ve ışık oldu."

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
