walking contradiction

an awesome green day song; the song is about a guy who feels that he cant do anyting right and that he feels like a loser; the song has some good guitar sounds
Ive got not belief,
But I believe I'm a walking contradiction,
And I ain't got no rights

hitchin' a ride

a great green day song that has very rythmical guitar sounds and a catchy beat; the song is about how someone feels when their getting drunk
Troubled times,
You know I cannot lie,
I'm off the wagon,
And I'm hitchin' a ride

good riddance

see time of your life for the green day song
It's something unpredictable,
But in the end it's right,
I hope you had the time of your life

stuck with me

an awesome green day song that is true punk in the way it sounds; the song is about a guy and a rich girl; the rich girl puts him down because he doesnt conform with her elite society (since punk is all about individuality)
Cast out,
Buried in a hole,
Struck down,
Forcing me to fall,
Destroyed,
Giving up the fight,
Well I know I'm not all right

time of your life

an awesome green day song; the song is very instrumental (only aucostic guitar) and is soft (and not really punk like most of their songs); the song's real title is Good Riddance, but this is the common name; the basis of the song is a relationship gone bad and all the painful memories; after the realtionship is over, he hopes she had a good time, but thinks she need to move on
It's something unpredictable,
But in the end its right,
I hope you had the time of your life.
an awesome green day song that is true punk, yet somehow manages to use a harmonica throughout the song (so cool!); the song is about as punk as you can get- it tells about individuality, going against society/authority, and hating conformity
I wanna be the minority,
I don't need your authority,
Down with the moral majority,
Cause I wanna be the minority

nice guys finish last

an awesome green day song that is true punk in nature; the premise of the song (probably the most truthful thing I ever heard) is that just because your a nice guy and treat the women great, doesnt (usually) means you wont get anything in return (since women only care about money/looks/power)
Oh, nice guys finish last,
When you are the outcast,
Don't pat youself on the back,
You might break your spine
