From Day in the Life Beatles, '...how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall'. Apparently John Lennon referenced the number of seats in the Hall (4000), hence bums on seats.

"That's a proper Albert of Arseholes" (with reference to a group of pissed lads maybe)
