wed and fed

Past tense for “weed and feed”, which is a dual-purpose process of applying fertilizer to your lawn to supply essential nutrients, promoting grass growth, together with herbicides to eliminate specific weeds, reducing competition for those nutrients, normally done in spring and fall.

Oh man, I’ve got to weed and feed this weekend… have you done yours? Yep, I wed and fed last week.

A description given to a team or other entity that has acquired absolutely no wins. The opposite of "undefeated".

The season's over, my team is "unwon" and done!
