Not to be mistaken for a term for "straight-A student", the slang term "ambitious" is a pejorative adjective referring to someone who experiences burnout due to encountering burdensome behavior requirement to get more screen time from parents in order to watch YouTube. Usually, people who are "ambitious" are the ones who have insane subscription numbers, i.e. 600+ YouTube channels.

After trying to keep up with 600+ YouTube channel subscriptions and constantly fulfilling my parents' demands for more screen time, I’ve become so ambitious that I’m completely burned out.

There are quite a few tactics that Big Tech companies has done to make YouTube an addictive spiritual opium. For example, not providing basic phones alongside smartphones anymore whilst making new Android smartphones come with the YouTube app plumbed without being able to be uninstalled.

Before long, you'll experience painful burnout long before you even get the screen time allotment that you need to catch up latest YouTube videos.

A slang meaning to refrain from watching YouTube for significant periods of time — either as a deliberate lifestyle choice or because of the condition requiring you to abstain from watching YouTube in the mean time.

I cannot imagine having to go on the abstinence from watching YouTube on my smartphone every time I lose an argument with my parents.

Users who subscribe to 600+ YouTube channels do not normally have that much time to watch YouTube, rather they often salivate at YouTube video recommendations that they simply don't have time to watch.
