Doctor Whom's definitions
A person holding political views that the user of the word finds to be extreme, most often extremely conservative. Often combined with freeper to form the term "freeper wingnut."
The wingnuts on your block must have had a fit when you put that anti-war bumper sticker on your car.

A mythical device often mentioned on Internet discussion fora, the irony meter is a device for measuring unintentional irony. It is best known for breaking or exploding when the irony becomes too strong.

A rhetorical question, asked in an ironic sense, derived from a supposed conservative tendency to view disagreement as unpatriotic. It is chiefly used in two situations: when a non-conservative points out something damning to the orthodoxy, and when a conservative says soemthing that reveals hypocrisy.

Stands for "Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anyone." A derogatory term for people who are perceived as taking NIMBY to ridiculous extremes.
Good luck on ever seeing that new shopping center get built. The locals aren't just NIMBY; they're BANANA.
