(Archaic)A small wallet or purse to carry coins. Some times used in conjunction with a reticule.

The women of the 1890's often carried thier money in a small poke which was built into their reticules (purses).

The name of the Buick, Electra 225. This term was heard mostly in the 1970's and early 1980's.

a : to search (as in public places) for a sexual partner. b: to go about the streets at random but on the lookout for possible developments.

a: Let's go cruising the streets for a sex partner.
b :The cabdriver cruised for an hour before being hailed.
