(Archaic)A small wallet or purse to carry coins. Some times used in conjunction with a reticule.

The women of the 1890's often carried thier money in a small poke which was built into their reticules (purses).

a : to search (as in public places) for a sexual partner. b: to go about the streets at random but on the lookout for possible developments.

a: Let's go cruising the streets for a sex partner.
b :The cabdriver cruised for an hour before being hailed.

A branch of the Republican Party for gays. (I don't know what they are thinking)

California is having a fund raiser sponsored by the Log Cabin Rpublicans.
