In the game of guy attracts girl, the only winning strategy for men any more is to simply be a complete tool, or douchebag. The sweet guy will always end up turning into the gay bestfriend with no hope of recovery.

Gay Bestfriend
The gay bestfriend is, most likely, not gay at all, but rather a victim of douchebag theory which has chosen to be friendzoned in hopes of becoming friends with benefits, most likely things will not work out for this guy.
