At first, doctors and scientists first thought this was just a flu-like virus, but in just a few days the CDC received a sample and realized it is a very close relative to Ebola and has very similar symptoms.
But, it is said that this virus a unique ability to control the host's mind and brain, practically turning them into a zombie within 72 hours. And within a week or so, the virus spread to Oregon and other states in the West Coast. And a few more weeks went by and the entire West Coast and Midwest were completely affected by the virus.
And not too long after many states got infected, it spread into Canada, which also started struggling due to the ability of the virus to give the host a very strong bloodlust. And within 5 weeks since the index case, the virus reached the UK, which then spread to the Netherlands and other parts of Europe. And after that, spread into Nigeria and other parts of the world.
Due to the uncontrollability of the virus, it soon became a global pandemic.
Sadly though, even if the UN was doing everything it could, in February 2018, the President of the United States (supposedly Donald Trump) was confirmed dead, and the government too. And later, the entire United States was just gone, and nothing was there to represent it.

Isolation Detention is basically like being locked in a small room with nothing but a chair or desk. The walls are completely white, but the floor would usually be tiled or carpet. You'd basically be locked in there until the principal says you can leave. It's dead silent, and you only hear the school board talking outside (depends on where the room is located) and yourself breathing. The room feels like solitary confinement, and the only way you could get this punishment is committing theft on school property or something similar.

23 year old Seung-hui Cho, the perpetrator, had killed 32 people that day, and ended up killing himself. He was diagnosed with many mental disorders that led him to think the world was against him, so he purchased a Glock 17 and a Walther P22 semi-automatic pistols, and plenty of ammo, and killed 2 people in West Ambler Johnston Hall, and headed to Norris Hall where the rest of the casualties happened. Cho recorded many videos containing his manifesto for the shooting, and disturbing photos, which was later played and shown on NBC News after the shooting. He said some pretty disturbing things in this manifesto, which I will not show, but he basically went on a rant basically showing how angry he was against the world, and said all the things he wanted to say before he went on his second rampage. This event remains the deadliest school shooting in US history.
