Eat Past the Pain 

Eat past the pain. A way of getting the children to eat everything on their plate, or a way of justifying gluttony when the food is so delicious, you just can't stop.

Son: I'm so full, I can't eat another bite.
Mom: Suck it up, eat past the pain!

Or

Husband: This turkey is so delicious, I think I'll have another serving.
Wife: Go, honey, eat past the pain!

Mandatory quality family time, as in the activities that teenagers are required by their parents to participate in. These activities are usually dictated by the parents in an effort to recreate the fun times when the children were small and affectionate.
