IPSC

Short for the International Practical Shooting Confederation (pronounced ip-sick), an organization that holds shooting sport competitions for handgun, rifle and shotgun. Competitors attempt to clear each stage as quickly as possible, shooting targets such as cardboard silhouettes, steel poppers, plate racks and Texas stars, while moving between pre-determined positions and shooting techniques.
