A stalwart, sturdy, thickset, burly, dimpled-chin tough guy -- regardless of height -- often employed as a cop, prison guard, or in other enforcement position befitting his stature and bulk.

'Holy cow, dude, I don't wanna mess with that guy -- he's a total bullgoon!'
