Screal

Noun: A high-pitched, shrill noise that blends the intensity of a scream with the sharp, frantic quality of a squeal. Often emitted involuntarily in response to frustration, pain, or surprise, especially when expectations are dramatically thwarted or crushed.

Verb: To make a screal; to emit a high-pitched, emotional noise of combined scream and squeal in reaction to something unexpected or intense.

(Noun) "As his fist met the reinforced steel frame of the building, a screal echoed through the room, signaling his defeat."

(Verb) "She screaled when her favorite mug shattered for the third time that week."
