table ender

In competitive eating, the highest ranked eaters are placed in the middle of the table on the stage. Lower ranks populate the ends of the table.

Guys like Joey and Pat sit in the middle of the table, center stage. A guy like me who is just a mortal eater is called a table ender.

rock my pack

Practical joke played by cavers on each other. When a caver has his pack off, another caver sneaks a few pounds of rocks into it. Not really all that funny if you're on a trip where you're pushing the limits of your physical endurance.

This cave has me whipped. My pack feels so heavy. Wait... did some jerk rock my pack?
