...overnight (red-eye) flight from Las Vegas to the Midwest or east coast in the 1960s and 1970s with organized crime members transporting money skimmed from casino receipts to the heads of the organized crime families pirmarily in Chicago, Newark, and New York.

Can also apply to the connecting flights from Chicago to Newark/New York after the overnight flight from Las Vegas.
