The mathematical equivalent of a typo; a small-but forgivable mathematical error caused by the fumbling of such things as keys, pencils, or entire measurement systems.

"Why did that space probe burn up in the atmosphere?"
"Sorry, my bad, made a matho."
"Oh, okay then."
