Conceived from the species unnatural environment manifested by the synthetic material world of his own creating. An attribute of mans adapted istinct is the source for mans noninherent drive for self (interest) which is itself a stimuli brought about by mans physical senses (material senses) which in turn is the source for the fostering within the human species the unnatural avidity for greed!, and is as such detached from mans innate volition for (self-preservation!). Wherefore, instinct is a natural attribute of man's organic drive for self-preservation and as such his consciousness, whereas the first (istinct) is not.
