Chode Cut 

Chode Cut: A vegetable cutting technique that slices vegetables into short, thick strips, similar to a julienne but with a reduced length (approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch). It’s preferred for peppers and green beans to maintain a hearty bite and works well for carrots, squash, and zucchini, offering a balance of texture and even cooking in various preparations.
Chef Jeff really nailed the Chode Cut on the Haricots Verts. Thats not an easy task and too many people are afraid to try.
