Vampire Hunter D

By Hideuki Kikuchi. An anime starring D, a dhampire/dhampile who hunts vampires for a living. Apparantly his left hand can talk.

D originated where that Kikuchi wanted to write a horror story based off folklore and Western movies, with a character suffering from the duality of good and evil. His first mental image of him was inspired by the gunfighter video of Phil Collins.

The offspring of a human and vampire. Dhampirs were allegedly the only people who could see vampires invisably, so they used this advantage to be hired as hunters.

Something that is so expensive or fancy yet utterly useless; overkill; something that says you got money to burn; very materialistic

$100,000 bed w/ 24K gold bed frame and block and ultra-fine silk linens. (What does this bed offer that a simple 1000 dollar bed does not besides luxury?)
