SAA is an acronym for “Survive and Advance.” This was the motto/rallying cry of legendary NC State men’s basketball coach Jim Valvano (aka “Jimmy V”) during his improbable 1983 NCAA championship run. Valvano’s Wolfpack stayed alive in the 1983 postseason by winning nine do-or-die games in a row — seven of which they were losing in the final minute – and they were one of the biggest underdogs ever in the title game.
"Wow, what an ugly win that was."
"Yeah, but it's SAA from here on out, brah."

JWB is an acronym for “Just Win, Baby!" This was the motto of the legendary Al Davis, owner and GM of the Oakland Raiders from 1966-2011.
"We beat this team by 30 last month. Why we going down to the wire with them now?"
"It's the playoffs, yo, JWB."
